DeathAdder Configurations

Umm i just bought myself a DeathAdder today and was wondering what is the ideal or recommended config for Polling Rate and Dpi?

I tried 1000 Hz and 3500 dpi and it's a little too fast for me =/

Also can anyone explain to me what is exactly Dpi and polling rate?

the hz is the time it takes for a signal to be transfered from mouse to computer, i set that at 1000, the higher the better

dpi is the dots per square inch the mouse moves, its pretty much like sensitivity

right now i have 1000 hz and 3500 dpi too, but the sens is at 6-6.5

and in game sens is 25

I see and i just figured out that there's a place to config the mouse sens on the driver thing. thanks for the info.

Got mine 3 days ago too.

For low setting, which I use:

1800 DPI Polling rate at 500Hz
Sensitivity is at 3.
CF sens is at 8.

For sniping my settings are slightly different.

U use pretty low sens
i like it so when i move the mouse about 1.5 inches i can do a 180

don't use 1000hz, most games don't utilize it well (use 500 or less)

i use 800 dpi with 2 sensitivity in game, that is my personal preference and it matches the size of my mousepad (qck medium sized pad) if i want to 180, i have to move my mouse across my whole mousepad.

generally, most professional gamers don't touch up the dpi above 1000 seeing as how it's too fast and not consistent.

lol i have the same mouse pad, its like 12 inches wide but i only use the center 3 inches...
as for dpi, 3500 feels pretty consistent, it never s**** on me or anything

I got the 1800 dpi one

my settings are at lowest polling rate and highest dpi.. just lower the sensitivity if it's too fast, dpi is more important
