its not like the awm but semi auto
1, it zooms to slow
2. takes to long to reload
3. only one zoom -

I totally suck at sniping. I don't use money to buy them (yes I have an M700).
But two of my friends on CF have got both AWM and DSR-1.
Provided that I use them, I prefer DSR. Its reload sucks, but you have enough chances to hit your opponent without having to reload.
+ it's a German weapon
So better go for DSR-1.

u got alot in ur future if u go 31-3 sniping, when i feel like sniping i go 70+ kills 10- deaths sniping monaco :P
anyways, i prefer the awm idk it just feels right in my hands i get mad at the dsr-1 when i use it -

reload may be slow... but since its only one zoom, semi automatic, and the same damage as an AWM, I prefer it for "rushing"... but it's not rushing like an M12s... but rather have really good aiming skills... I have the aiming skills to rush with DSR-1 ;D -

Well yea, it definitely depends on what you prefer in a gun. Do you like bolt-action? (AWM) Or do you like semi-automatic sniper rifles? (DSR-1) I can use every sniper in the game without a problem but it depends on mostly for me how the gun feels when you use it. I prefer the AWM over everything else because it is good at any range. 1x zoom is good for quick scoping/sniping close-medium range and the of course 2x is great for long range encounters and the reload rate isn't that bad. The cons of the AWM are the weight and slow firing rate. DSR-1 on the other hand is a semi-automatic sniper rifle, mainly used for medium-ranged encounters and it doesn't weigh as much as the AWM. It's cons are that it's reload rate is horrible, the zoom is slow, and it takes forever for it to be taken out. It's your decision though. Go for whatever you want.

AWM- RD/Camo same story 1st spawn you can get 18-0 easily if you know how to campsnipe on the building between BL and GR
