1) play tetris, its always a great game for passing time. I once played one game in one hour.

2) Pinball on the computer, classic.

3) Get a novel or comic/manga books. Reading is good.

4) Get a Portable Media Player. Im not suggesting a ipod immediately, but music is good, or videos.

5) Read the newspaper. Always good to pass time.

6) Sudoku. Its fun once you get the hang of it.

7) Zone out and daydream. Always a great choice when you have nothing.

8) reminiscent on your past. Not good if you had a bad past, but its nice.

9) Ponder on philosophy and the meaning of life. I do it as the last resort, always great for thought.

10) Ask for a better job. If you REALLY must.
