Clan Points in Clan war?

I hears some weeks ago there is no more inclusion for Clan Points in clan Matches. But yesterday our clan lost about 90 Clan Points without any member left.

??? idk how

Comments

  • they take away like 10% of ur clan points everyweek
    to every clan
  • -10% Clan points

    As a clan member I have read the clan FAQ.
    It doesn't exactly say WHY they do it, it just says they do it -_-

    But I think it's something to give lower-rank clans the opportunity to get higher.

    E.g.: Clan A has 50 points, clan B has 30 points and clan C has 10 points.
    If you take away 10% of the points, the ranking would be this:
    A = 45; B = 27; C = 9.

    Clan C loses the least points, clan A loses the most.

    If you use bigger numbers, things should get clear.

    E.g.2: Clan A has 200,000 points, clan B has 150,000 points and clan C has 90,000 points.
    If you take away 10% of the points, the ranking would be this:
    A = 180,000; B = 135,000; C = 81,000.

    The difference between the clans BEFORE taking away 10% is this:
    A - B = 50,000; A - C = 110,000; B - C = 60,000

    The difference between the clans AFTER taking away 10% is this:
    A - B = 45,000; A - C = 99,000; B - C = 54,000

    Although the biggest clan (clan A) has the same advance on the other clans
    because clan A has 133.33% more clan points than clan B
    and 222.22% more than clan C.

    These numbers remain the same after taking away 10%.

    The point is that other clans are given a chance to rise in the clan ranking.

    Hope I helped!

    Hmm.. I don't think thats correct. I think they take 10% away from your total clan points earned that week, but taking around that much doesn't seem right.
  • Well it's only what I think. I might be wrong. Probably.

    It is true, but the highest ranked clan has only 53k points.

    So the loss is 5,3k cp. Which is not that much.
