Specifically, to anyone who uses the replay function to make movies;

is there any way to get rid of the lower bar with all the controls ?
it looks pretty crappy.

Crop it. I use sony vegas pro 9 to do so though. On your clip it will have two lil box things and you can do that. Unable to do so with windows movie maker I believe.

Oh and why are the fast forward and backward butons greyed out?

Fast Forward, does not work. You need to watch the whole replay to get to the part you may want, unfortunately. They say they will add those features later, and straight up improve the replay system in general.

Use Vegas. If you have 1440x900, you can crop that down to a nice 1280x720 (720p, YouTube HD).
