Intro(I'm new) and Rant

Hi, I'm new to Cross Fire and my time here has been fun so far. I was previously playing CoD4 and CS:S non-competitively, so I know the basics of FPS games. I enjoy Search and Destroy a lot because there's an actual objective to it.

Recently I've been top fragging, I'm getting used to the weapons here, and wow the community of this game is what bugs me. I either get kicked randomly, someone calls me a "raker," a "trash kid," or a "try hard." I guess doing good in a pub game makes you a bad person. What I don't understand is, why go around calling people "kids." I'm 19 years old and I don't go around calling people whom I've never met a kid. They could be older than I am. Oh well, it's the internet right?

I'd also like to know more about the community and if there is an actual friendly competitive side to this game. Thanks in advanced!
