why do ppl spend so much money on this game?

The game was fun and still is sometimes. I spent money not only to get weapons I wanted but to support the game in hopes that it would improve.
That being said, if we could get rid of certain players, the game would once again be fun and skill wouldn't get you kicked out of games. -
well when i read the forum sometimes i see ppl saying how much money they have spent so far on this game and lots of them are hundreds of dollars and some are even $1000 or more and i mean i do not understand at all why u wud do tht!!
if i had that much money to spend on games i wud buy a fking ps3 or 360 and buy cod mw2 or halo or somethin and that only like $300 at most for both system and games
and yet some ppl spent so much more on this game, a FREE game and seriously i play cod mw2 at my friend house and this game doesnt even come close!!
i mean this is the best free fps i ever played but it doesnt even begin to compare with games like cod or gears, etc..
so i just dont understand at all why ppl wud spent hundreds of dollars on this one FREE game
i mean i play this becuz i only got a ps2

because cf isnt cod or mw2 its cf and go play to your friends house and play mwa or cod. and its thier decison maybe they are rich ^^ -

I bought some zp for the same reasons: guns and support.
I'm pretty happy with the guns i have.
I have seen some improvement on the game, but really slowly, s...l...o...w...l...y...
Now I will buy zp only if new nice guns come in the game, or when there will be a big improvement on the game. -
i have CoD a ps3, i play NBA sometimes but cod i just wanna sell back, the game is crap and the community, i go into a random game and some guy starts dissing me for no absolute reason, oh plus there r plenty plenty of no lifers in cod
and how is cf community any better? i mean ppl call ea other hak 24/7 i mean seriously i cant remember a single match i've ever played that the word hak wasnt used and worse ppl actually get kik all the time becuz other think they hak and half the ppl are fking laggers too
and u ppl are fking stupid, this isnt a COD vs CF thread, i was just using cod as an example fkheads -

Of you wanna play in splitscreen with your friends ? +50$ for a controller.
450$ excluding the taxes... That's so close from your 300$!

Because people are addicted to games and if they are not addicted they are an excessive gamer, like me. I dont play crossfire anymore but it can be on the addictive side. Some people dont realise how addictive it can be and mock peoples addictions.

Btw, I'm 14 years old. The money that I spent is the money that I saved along my life. I spent like 200 Euros. If I want, I could spend more than 1000 Euros.
If it`s not the case then it`s easy to throw 100000000 euros out through the window .
