Like silversil said it deals more than twice the damage of most rifles up close, which balances it out. Although it may technically be a rifle there's no denying that it has much more in common with a shotty in regards to how you ought to use it.
Yeah but a rifle is supposed to be good at both. Its rate of fire is slow, it's reload is SLOWER, it's power sucks at long range, it's accuracy isn't great and it's rare to get. Still love it but needs to be buffed.

It's like 1 second for every round + he has to co.ck it. The accuracy isn't the best, and its firing rate is slower than a shotgun.
Pros:
2/3 hit kill at medium range
1 hit kill at close range
Cons:
Less than 10 damage per shot at long range
Slowest reload in the whole game (I think)
Slow firing rate
Hard to get because it's in the black market.

It almost never 1 hit kills in close quarters, besides headshot.

Indeed it lacks power. And yes, it sounds WEAK. Like, really weak. It's like tapping a steel nail to a glass table... But with a ricochet sound. -

A winchester is a PSG1, MSG90, M700 "no scoping"!

The only thing i like about the winchester are it's looks. The stats are so unrealistic though.
The winchester takes the same .44 pistol ammo as the anaconda so why isn't the winchester more accurate and powerful at long range? Imo the anaconda's sound should be alot louder simply because it's a revolver. The winchester should shoot almost 2x as far as the anaconda with greater accuracy because of it's long barrel. -

We do know that it has the same damage as an PSG-1.

It doesn't have 2x the "firing" power as the anaconda at long range though. The anaconda maintains it's "firing" power even at long range but the winchester barley even leaves your opponent with a scratch. -

At close range, winchester does deal that firepower. But at long range, for some reason, it's weaker than a M9 who shoots a person in the toe. 2-6 damage >.>
