I like the zoom it has now TBH. Fits the gun better IMO, the AK-47 is a classic gun, no need for a new age electronic scope. But whatever scope the AK-74U might get I'd be happy with. Actually, I'd be happy with just the regular AK-74U, but I think a scope would be badass. Also, if I overshoot a little, they might put in just the regular 74U as a compromise.
That is if I had any say in what guns went into the game though...

As much as I like variants of the "signature" weapons of CF like the M4 and AK-47, I think we already have enough of them.
There are much more deserving variants of the H&K G36's out there, that I would much rather have than more AK-47's that would just waste away in storage. I have 4 AK-47's, and I only use the AK-47 Silver. An AK-47U with a scope would be like adding a scope and a bit more recoil to an M12s. Another noob cannon. So unless you think it should be BP or a ZP crate weapon, -1. -

AK-74, not AK-47. Similar design, but a completely different play style in game, not to mention much smaller ammo IRL. It was made to bridge the gap between assault rifles and SMG's... Think Micro Galil, not M12. Since the PSG-1 is an adaption of the G3 rifle, think of it this way: G3 ~ AK-47 as an early rifle, G36 ~ AK-74 as a later upgrade to the rifle, and PSG ~ AK-74U as more hybrid version of the rifle, one being part sniper and the other part SMG. And although I agree that G36's are awesome and we need more, (was my first assault rifle I think :rolleyes:) This isn't just another adaption of the AK-47, its the in game first remake of the 74, which as of now has the same amount of versions as the G36.LobsterMts wrote: »The normal AK-74U did not came yet, why in the hell you already want scope :P
Like I said before, I think if I overshoot it a little, they're more likely to comprimise to 'just' the regular AK-74U if they don't make my idea a reality. It's like trying to haggle down the price on a car- if you don't want to pay over 10 thousand dollars for it and the price is 11k, say that you only want to pay up to 9 tops. If you get it for 9k, great, you got a bargain. But even if he comes back with, "IDK about 9k but I can probably give it to you for 10.", then you still are paying a fairly low price. If the community wants an AK-74U Scope, Z8 might come back with "You'll get the AK-74U and nothing more!", and in that case we still get an awesome gun. And if they do give us the scoped version, then DAYUM we're in for a treat. But don't tell Z8 mah plans, its a secret.

~_~ Your argument is invalid. Everyone sprays with everything anyways, nubs just don't hit as often. Someone else was right when they said think Microgalil, I bet that's how they screw it up. Shortening the barrel takes away accuracy and they think "Well we'll up the spread pattern then."
Frankly the game, like most, doesn't do accuracy very well. Within 100m you'll still be shooting dead straight with shortened assault rifles. It's when you get out to longer distances the barrel length really helps stabilize the bullet for longer travel.
In game; I can spray 30 rounds of AK out to 50m and miss every shot. There's way too much spread in the weapons they already have. MGalil is 20x worse than that even.
If guns were this inaccurate in real life we'd probably all still be using spears and swords to kill eachother. -

The ship had involuntary relations with my mother, it needed to be punished. :mad: Not really though, I just found a Youtube vid of Dual RD Colts and used my uber 1337 hacking skills to make a .gif of it. They're inaccurate in the game because in a war zone, you're not going to get maximum range simply because of the human factor: guns are only as accurate as you can point, and enemy gunfire coming at you and hitting you often makes it harder to aim.
