Competitive Updates
Last week was AK47 Week and Churche and some of the Cross Fire moderators ran an AK47 Tournament! Those players will get their winning GP soon! Churche has also asked to see what you guys think of these mini events and what we could do in the future to make these things more enjoyable!
WOGL broadcast their first Cross Fire league match in High Definition this week! It was a blast and a great watch. Despite some *cough* disruptions it was well received. We hope the next one will be even greater! And add your Week 5 predictions before the week is done here!
*note* To those who were involved in disrupting the WOGL broadcast. You can and will face consequences from Z8Games. We already have a list of accounts who were involved and are investigating into the closure of related accounts (ie if you were on an alt, your main can and will be banned). WOGL AND Z8Games will not tolerate this kind of disruption.
The CFCL are still doing their weekly CFCL drafts! So get involved and check out some great games with players of great skill and join in the action today!
Community Happenings
Cross Fire lost a couple of great mods this week but we picked up a brand new Moderator for the team as well. Help welcome him here in this thread! [MOD]DdoTt will hopefully live up to his reputation for being fair and respectful and fun! We look forward to having him on the team.
Hifl wants to know if anyone plays CF from Canada? And Gurpin wants to know who is the best under aged player? Go say hello if you fit into those categories!
Apparently Z8Games fails again. Just when we thought we could control random FPS increases, especially coming from such a wide range of video cards, or when we thought we could control internet traffic to make everyone's ping under 50, reddeath68 decided to set us straight with the facts.
But we can't go out on a negative now can we? If you haven't had a chance to chill in the Off Topic section of the forum, maybe you can be part of the Cool Kids Club! But be careful, just because it's off topic doesn't mean we're not watching!
Featured Clan - JellyBellyz
JellyBellyz are a small clan established over a year ago. They have changed over leadership but have now established themselves in Cross Fire with a standard logo, active members, and are looking to expand!
They have created their own site and are working on various other ventures through Youtube with a series called "The Ace Guides" which they are hoping will provide news and reviews about guns and maps and other aspects of CF.
The Jelly's looks like a friendly place of competitive players who are starting to make their mark in Cross Fire. Check out their Clan Page and apply if you think you'll fit in!

Not that I was involved or anything, but technically this was WOGL broadcast room is a regular room with a regular password. Is it a ban-able offense it to enter guess a password of a room, and enter it?
I understand why you are telling the community that it is a ban-able offense. However, what if the people who joined, do not even know what WOGL is? They guessed the password and joined the room? Thinking it was a regular game wanting to play. Then getting kicked, and later on finding out that they are banned one day, and they have no idea why?
WOGL should make the rooms 5-5 with a 6 player spec. This way even if random people guess the password, they cannot disrupt the game, also teams can still switch sides, and also the Room name should be WOGL LIVE BROADCAST, this way when you put in a password that has some length to it. It will go, passwor... and people who are watching the live broadcast cannot enter the room, because they cannot see the password.
However making that a ban-able offense seems pretty harsh. It isn't the players fault for joining a pass worded room that just so happens to be a live WOGL broadcast. I mean, think a little bit when making the room. If the name & password are too short, and your broadcasting this live to hundreds of viewers, maybe thousands? you don't think someone would try to join it for ****s and giggles? KNOWING that they won't get banned, because this shouldn't be a ban-able offense.
Just smarten up next time and this issue will most likely not happen again. -

SO FRICKING WHAT?! DUDE! WHOA! COME ONE! I don't think picking clans out of the bushel is fair seeing how many other clans may do this as well...-_-

I agree, instead of attempting to attack, they should build up their defense. I watched the whole broadcast and you could clearly see at one point when the room broke down, the password the one guy entered. It was a mistake on WOGL's part. But what can you do, the match ended. I don't think either teams are complaining etc.....You made some good points. I'd also like to comment on the fact that I enjoyed the broadcast crew of r0th and Jerry. Some minor mistakes but once all is said and done, seems to have a promising future.
