The Winchester is f*cking underpowered. I mean, come on. Iv'e had it on crossfire for like 7 months, and i haven't recieved over 50 kills yet with it.
I can stand 2 meters away from an enemy, hit him in the chest, it does 89 damage.
It should be more powered. It's a rifle, you should be able to kill an enemy with 2 shots on a 150 ft distance. Shooting it now in Crossfire on a 100 ft distance, you would do 15-30 damage.

well, considering the fact that this weapon is made in around the late 1800s to early 1900s. The stats are a perfect description of the weapon unless you prove otherwise... To be honest, its a fun weapon to use. But not one to go for the offensive.
It's a rifle, not a shotgun. The power of the bullet fired from the Winchester won't decrease power over distance. It has many models, but the one crossfire constructed was from 1886 i think. It's underpowered. I mean, it's The Gun who won the West. It didn't get it's name by sucking ASS. -
I've reached 50 kills in 3 matches with it.
You just don't know how to use it, even after 7 months.
Even after? I have used it around 1,5 months, now that i don't have any weapons. (Only the starters)
And most of that time, i either trade or drop it and ninja people.
Its just weak. -

Then you can't use it? It's a really hard weapon to handle, but it's like an AK47. If you master it, it's just an amazing weapon. I've had it for less than a week and I love it. -

Freaking idiot, it 2 shot kills. How is it underpowered noob??? You dont want it, gift it to me. Spent 400k havent gotten that thing. -

It may be a crate gun, but just because it comes in a crate doesn't mean it should automatically be better than gp guns. Crate guns are usually improvements on regular guns. But since the winchester doesn't have an original gp gun, there's nothing to improve on. Also if it was just as balanced as the rest of the guns, don't you think that it'd lose its novelty? IMO the whole idea of getting a winchester is getting an underpowered gun and seeing how good you can do with it.

So true. I've hit someone across the map and done like 2dmg. I like the Winchester but it would be alot funner if you could long-distance kill with it. -

yet its an instant kill at short range. which balances it out. -

Like silversil said it deals more than twice the damage of most rifles up close, which balances it out. Although it may technically be a rifle there's no denying that it has much more in common with a shotty in regards to how you ought to use it.
