No, those guns are normal. What we have now is severe underkill. 10 hits for glocks/m9 to kill someone? It's ret.arded. Wearing body armor should also completely nullify attacks from certain calibers and be completely useless against others.
They need to rescale the way they deal damage with varying calibers in game. Bullets are all roughly the same size, it's much more about the locations hit rather than the type of round. Until you get into types of bullets, like shattering tips or the air tipped led backed by steel core spinning ammo. Other than specialty stuff it's all going in and stopping in a straight line or going all the way through.
I'd like to shoot the person who makes these decisions 6 times in the chest with a 9mm and see them run around and fight back.
But I digress... -
