Confuzion!?!?
i have a good running system..
Vista
2.00 GB Memory
32 - Bit
my problems with the setup process after downloading it. after the installation. when i click the setup app. it freezes my computer and i get not responding. til i can close it. ive tried dling it several times.
i also noticed the downloadable file names differ.
version:
Crossfire_Setup_V1045.exe
and
Crossfire_Setup_V1049_xfire.exe
i figured i might not be downloading the right one but ive tried so many and the freezing makes me believe i need to manually do something.

lol the problem is vista seriously vista eats up so much memory the more memory it eats up on one simple thing like installing a game the more its going to crash or go extremely slow.
restart your computer so that nothing at all is open and try running the installer again, if not you probably got some programs or processors that load up with windows start up which you will probably need to disable them so the memory doesnt get eaten
you can use a simple free program called ccleaner to disable any unwanted start up processors
