Black screen of death

when ever i go in game ill get a black screen in like 20 mins that i can only exit by holding the power botton for 10 seconds and i have restarted me computer and game before anybody know why this is happening

Not really. Somtimes on my laptop it turns black.

have you tried pressing ctrl + alt + del to see if the task manager will open up?

or does your monitor just come up with monitor going to sleep?

Please tell us your computer basic information because other players do have similar problems.

Solutions:
Update your Graphic Card to the latest version

Your Graphic Card does not support CrossFire or is over-heated.

How to check your brand of your graphic card : Go into the start menu, and click accessories, "Run", type in dxdiag and press enter. Go in to the Display tab and tell me what it says and I will find the proper site for you to update.

Please go to http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/drivers.aspx and choose the right driver in your computer and follow the instruction to update your graphic card.

If you have already update all drivers, maybe it is time for you to buy a new graphic card driver. Sometimes your graphic card driver will not be compatible with CrossFire.

his card is compatible

you will need a new card though because your card is dying and before long it will start making your monitor go to sleep after certain periods of time, hence you have to keep restarting your computer for it to work.

just use your on board graphics card like i am works fine i get 35-70 fps from on board

just check to make sure the drivers are updated for that

Yes, you are correct, his graphic card maybe dying, he just needs a new one.

As they said, its most likely your grapic card drivers, are you completely sure ypu updated it properly?
If yes, you might have to buy a new graphic card..

Also, of topic..
It is blue sceen of death (not 'of the death') and if you get a 'black screen of death' its not the same thing, its a prob lem w/ graphics..

And I think there is no such thing that called black screen of death, it's just the blue screen of death.

u can always alt+tab it or ALT+ESC it or CTRL+ALT+DELETE and manually end the process or HGCW.exe or crossfire.exe and it will cancel the game.. but that sucks... maybe configure you're graphic control panel
