Low FPS on CF.
I've tried deleting a lot of stuff from my comp, unused progs, games i don't play anymore, I even use gamebooster.
System Specs: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1300767
I play with 800x600, low texture, weather off and 16 bits. On 16 people room I get 20-25 fps on BlackWidow map... But sometimes, I get major fps drop on room with 4-5 persons... And I notice fps drop while approching smokes..

I've tried the tips given in the forums.
Any help is appreciated.

Fps only makes a difference to me when its <10.
I usually get 20-100, it changes so much i just ignore it.
I can't, because sometimes the game really jitters and my ping spikes with it, it's only for 1 second but can make a difference while in a CW. -

This game is very CPU dependent. I've got an amd am3 socket quad core with a 512mb integrated graphics card which sucks my ram down to 2.75 and I still get 120+fps.
Lucky you, I have a Dual Core that seems a Single Core >_> , slow RAM and a low graph card, damn laptop. -

it seems i cannot find any info on this laptop at all, and yes most games give off better fps than cf and cf uses a great deal of cpu usage which isn't good at all.
i'll give searching another go but i probably wont find anything about this laptop by the looks of it -

That's because this laptop is a Portuguese brand and it's part of a governamental school project

i see that would be the reason then.
the only other way would be to buy a new laptop or a desktop, though your fps wont increase much at all with a new laptop unless you buy a laptop that has an upgradeable graphics card.
because the devs work so much on new content rather than making the game completely stable, the game never used to have fps issues when open beta began =z -

nope not really im using xp FTW
if you have windows 7 then you can try running in compatibility mode for xp service pack 2 or 3 and see if it helps your fps but i doubt it will but no harm in trying -

You can try to do "Control+Alt+Delete" in-game and go into the Process tab, end any process that is using way too much of the CPU but don't close these process:
-System
-csrss
-explorer
And any other process that is important for your system. -

Crossfire aint like those other games like Cod that Use The Graphics card, Crossfire uses ur Processor more that ur graphics card, i got low fps so my bro had alook and the proccessor speed was on min, we turned it up on max, i got 200 fps +. -
If you can't modify the laptop at all, then use XFire instead of Skype. Skype uses Port 80. Most internet downloads, such as streaming video and server connection, use Port 80. No Skype = better FPS. XFire is designed to work in games, and supports voice chat, so...
Also, his card whips my card to hell (GMA integrated, 128 MB), but I get 60-70 FPS. Card shouldn't be an issue.
