How does armor work?

In an SS, I see that someone with armor have 100 HP as well as 100 AC, does that mean you have the equivalent of 200 HP or something? Also, how much bullet damage will it cut down, as well as knife? Can it prevent you from getting 1 hit KOed by shovel and axe? What weapons can the bulletproof helmet prevent getting a one-hit headshot from?

Chest armor usually reduces enough to help you withstand 1 bullet before your death.

Head armor will make it take 2 shots to kill you.

As for knifing I have no clue.. I havnt come across any issues seeing I usually axe.

armor isnt really worth it...i mean c'mon, 1 bullet? you have to be lucky to kill that dude within that 1 bullet difference...no need to waste zp

I see, 2 shots for any weapon excluding snipers? And lets say it takes 4 shots to kill you, with the armor does that mean you can withstand 5?

As an added total it usually rounds up to be 20-30

For rifles most of the time it's 2 shots to the head with head armor.
For the chest it reduces greatly. I would say it's worth it if you have the money. Wear it for a month and take it off, you'll see that you'll die alot faster.
For awm shots I'm pretty sure you don't die in one shot. Might be 2. Head shot is still with an awm one bullet. Might be mistaken I don't armor. ): Only what I've seen.

It stops bullets...

The armor in this game(The head)will allow you to take a shot to the head and be left with a small amount of AC and HP.

The(Vest)will allow you to take at least 2 nades or multiple shots to the back. Less to the front for some reason.

That pretty much breaks it down because I wore it fir 11 months. I let it run out and found its just as easy without AC. Just be more aware of your surroundings.

I found it zp wasting
But what i did like was it was good for nades
Cost a nade would take like 60AC and 10hp. so its worth it in some ways.

armor doesnt do too much to help against bullets but its real useful against grenades and knife

a direct nade will only do about 60 dmg as apposed to a full 100 dmg, and with helmet, headshots with knife can no longer kill in 1 shot

as ppl say its good vs knife and nades, and not to bad vs SMG sprayers but a burst from a rifle will still take you out

Wow a lot of fail info in here.

The helmet is great. It will take two shots to the head from almost every rifle. The exception is the AK 47, as it has such high power. From extreme distances though it is still two shots.

Chest armor is very helpful against the normal grenade. The ZP grenades do a lot of damage still. Weaker guns like the M4s and the SMGs and stuff will notice right away if you're wearing armor.

Awm shots are still one shot, M700 still takes two shots, etc.

Knife vs armor leads to a lot of crying. And the AK knife will take two stabs as well.

awm shot thru box while some1 wearin helmet is 99 at a distance around 20-30m, happen to me once.
