I don't see why you can't make an editing masterpiece with pub footage. What is important is how the kills look like and work with the rest of the video. TBH, I've seen some scrim videos and the opposition's skill (and hence the pressure situation) is simply not captured.

Ingame only excels in having "correct" positioning of fired bullets. You shouldn't have to record ingame to prove you're legit in a video...

I'm a big fan of Neof's replay edits, because they look so clean. What doesn't look clean? Ingame with FPS lag, poor quality, chatting & other HUD stuff.
