GM Tutorials?
I noticed alot of people are doing gun tutorials but they are mainly covering how good they are overall, like in a TDM or SnD match, but i was wondering what would your thoughts be if we did this but what the guns are like in GM.
Alot of people in the past have asked what guns do you use for GM and what people think are the best guns for being good at GM. Me and a friend thought if we got enough peoples interest we would start making commentated GM weapon vids. Footage and weapon wise will be easy, as we are both very good at GM, past clans for example; Panthers and Hellokitties. So the footage should be farely easy to get a long with the weapons as i have the majority of them.
For all the people who say GM is bad, why would you want this, well there are still alot of GM clans out there who would be interested so take that into conisderation.
Please we would like your opinion on this.

Yeah thats why i posted on here to find out what people think and if i should or not, what i think i'm gonna do is realease one video and see what people think, if they like it i will keep on going if not i will stop.

I'm not saying you shouldn't make a video guide, I'm stating that "I" dont think an easy mode such as GM, needs one.
Too me, that saying we need to make a video guide of MutationMode. -
well GM is pretty much your own choice
so it's kinda hard to tell what's good and bad, some ppl could say shotty is bad because you might hafta shoot long range but add a pistol and u got a good combo
its all just what you prefer

Yeah i understand your guys points, but i know GM may not be as competitive as SnD, well i know for a fact. But GM is much more competitive than mutation mode, although it may be pointless to you, i think alot of other people would enjoy it.
I would set it out like the CFGC, but use different categories, for example, loudness/volume of the weapon. -
Pretty much you can use any gun in gm, its the tracking, pinpointing, and dodging attacks that are more important
and of course shotties are good at close range and silenced weapons help with pinpointing
Yeah but i will look over cost effectiveness, help "newbies" choose guns stuff like that, and hopefully help average players get better, will see were this goes. -

Let noobies learn from there mistakes, making a video of the mistakes they will make wont help them. -
meh I started doing something like this 6 months ago, then realized, "noobs" dont go on youtube to look at videos of how to play GM, they just join the game and be as obnoxious as possible to the ones who play regularly. If you really want I'll give you my notes on just about all of the "useful" guns.

hmm..it really depends on how you play. Like,i've known a lot of seriously good gm snipers that do better with a sniper than rifle(judgesim,aveit,even dgod). I personally like my AK for everything,as the power is immense for spray downs. Some people just prefer to be able to spray more with a mp5 etc. It really depends on your style. Give me an AWM and I could bottom frag against decent players,gimme an AK and i'll be back in the top 2-3 top fraggers.

Yeah,no noobs (most of them non-english speaking) read these guides and go onto youtube looking for tutorials. Most of them would prefer to look at [CF] Hacks on youtube =//
As much as we do all these guides and tutorials to help people,most people on these forums already know what there doing and all the noobs are in-game and there answer to getting better is to
1) hack
2) glitch
3) and if everything else fails,kick people better than them. -

Panther1, hell2, phantom3. In tour I was the member of he'll. Part I was in phantom and right now I'm in panther. I think a lot of u don't know me.I'm [G]. Uhm I will let u know how can and wat thing make u doing good in there. Fast defuse and m4a1 coust or sivel. Those are the best gun, those gun made little bit sound and shot straight to the target not like shot gun. U guys knew pingpong so I don't need to say about that. This is my secret. But I don't want keep it anymore. With fast defuse=6s so bl can wait until 4s for gr defuse and kill that defuse the c4. A lot of bl always bhop...but alway made straight so easy for know the way of bl coming and running . If u hear the breath coming to you. wait for them come near u, and move forward to the front . Just look straight to that sound and look back for spray,the ghost who bhop to u will stuck in your gun or go away, i alway have hs from that.. Thats not for camping ghost. Not hear the breath only, u have to hear the step too. Look on the mini map, the white dot is your team, if u hear the step coming but in the minimap have no team beside u meant ghost. If u hear tit tit form plant site meant they are plant the c4. U can pingpong that tit tit sound just like breath. Some one luv shotty, its fine but not mine way. If u saw some on from b but u was at a. Can u have his blood? Good for cover defuse and solo. Awm yeah good for camp when start the round and then go back to hallway for cover your team at center. Get the pen and paint the target. So if the ghost come to u, move that point to him like using regular gun and right click and left click (just try and u will know=]) and defuse c4 from b. Look at the gate, if bl come, one shot

Umm.....
That's just plain wrong.
Making a video telling them not to do something either will teach them not so do something...
Or in the case of many people, they will either forget it or ignore it and it will come back to roast them in the ass...*shrugs*
And the "learn from their own mistakes" part adds itself to the "learned from the video" part..they can start to come up with their own play styles based off what they learned and see what mistakes they get from those before they land into a style they prefer.
