Cross Fire is not compatible with WIN7

I recently purchased Win7 Home Premium, just finished updating windows with the latest updates, from driver updates to direct3D 11 and .NET 4.

CF encounters an error when opening, right before it says "INITIALIZING CHARACTER MANAGER", the game crashes showing a message says "send error repor?"

Save me your pointless threads, yes I do have gamebooster, yes I have re-downloaded the game.

lol, i downloaded WIN lastnight and had the same problom says xtrap has block this program or something, and exits the game

Can you run it with XP/vista compatibility?

I do, its an NVIDIA 8200M G 1.4GB

stupid laptop, but i can run other games at average settings.

make sure you have crossfire set to 'run as administrator' checked in the crossfire.exe properties

and/or cf_box.exe I dont know which

crossfire is compatible with windows 7 otherwise everyone else who has windows 7 wouldnt be able to play either.

just run the game in windows xp compatibility mode

1. right click crossfire shortcut

2. click properties

3. click compatibility tab

4. check the "run this program in compatibility mode for:" box

5. select windows xp service pack 2 or 3

6. click apply then ok and try again
