Seriously, Use fraps, and make the effects supplement the video, not take it over.

How did he overuse effects? He just changed color/light to sync it with the song. I liked that effect tbh.

Edit: For most people, frapsing in game gives them low fps. Because most people unlike devourz use scrim footage, they do not want their low fps to take away from their playing ability.

Everyone can agree that running fraps DOES impact your performance. Therefore, if I'm playing a match that I want to win, why would I ever fraps?

Ninjakitty to get the best quality for your edit, you want fraps to record at a high fps in full screen. When i 5v5 without fraps i get 120 fps, with fraps at it's highest setting i drop to 60's and spike down sometimes to 30.

If you say "well why not lower your fraps settings," well ninjakitty...then my edit will look worse due to lower quality.

If you respond to this ^ as, "quality isn't that much of a big deal" you are a complete idiot and should not quote this post and respond with such ignorance.

I know you are spoiled and your parents can buy you whatever you want, but normal people can't just go out and buy a super rig, just to please you with in-game footage.

Especially when 90% of people find replays to be fine.
