patcher is already running

Hello!

My problem is that i wil play crossfire but if i click on start game he ask for starting patcher so i do that,but after i click on start patcher there is nothing.
He does nothing open nothing start nothing.
And when i click than on crossfire,start game he said patcher is already running!

Howe can i fix this problem?
my computer is a vista
