Tip for raising FPS in Vista.
This is for Vista, im not too sure if you can do this in Windows XP.
Ok here it goes:
1. Right click on the empty spot on your desktop
2. Go to the View Tab
3. Click on the Show Desktop Icons
This will hide your desktop icons, not erase, just hide. To restore, just do the same thing.
This simple fix can raising your FPS by 5, well it all depends on how many icons you got on your desktop.
Hope this helps
