Why do people want to be mod.

It seems like a tough job, one that only a certain few can fill. You wont scrim anymore you'll spend most of your time on the forums(if you already dont). Can someone explain the appeal behind becoming a moderator.
nah i jk.well they want to serve and help z8games community to keep server clean and forum also clean.i hope that did cleard your mind a bit. -
There are actually a select few out of the many applications that actually want to contribute to this community in order to help it get better. Even if it is "just a free to play video game", as many people say, the state of the community is just as important as the next. Being a Moderator brings that select person 1-step closer to being able to help that process along.

I had power on the forum, but in exchange I had to give up everything that made playing the game fun (Scrims/matches/tournaments)
It also becomes really hard to pub, as everyone is asking OMG HOW U GET THAT NAMECARD and adding you to their friends list and whispering you and stalking you, ugh. -

something other than your run of the mill answer. i feel like "helping the community" is what people consider the right answer similar to yes sir no sir and that they feel it helps their chances because someone is not going to get mod by simply stating i want to help the community -
Any other answers than "want to help the community" i know theres people out there who applied that honestly couldn't care less about the community someone give me a non-standard answer
There r other people out there who wants 2 be mod just so they can ban any person they want ( anyone they think haks) and there is another group that cares about the well being of cf and the community if u r a mod u must care for the community so your non-standard answear is void -

Don't forget the million extra whispers players also give you asking if you're BR cause you don't answer their questions. -
