Turning the mouse acceleration off !!!
Why the mouse acceleration is coded into crossfire ? How can you call a game competitive if one of the most important parts is partially broken ?
If you don't know what I am referring to - move your mouse in crossfire slowly across your mousepad. Now do the same thing but faster, you will see that ur crosshair dont stops at the same place as before
Aiming is way harder if my crosshair dont do exactly what my hand and mouse is telling it.
So why dont turning it off ?? It would improve the gameplay very much and make crossfire a more competitive game than before !!

meh, every game is different personally i dont see that big of a difference, mind you it dont help that i have a 120$ gaming mouse.
The aiming is pretty much the same in every popular competitive shooter like cs,css,cod4. Maybe u dont mind it that much cause ur just playing public and cws but if you play in the esl its very important to be able to trust that ur mouse movements are 99 % transmitted to the screen. -

it really all depends on your style of play, i have not played the COD games on pc im a console person for those, but as for css i was in Cal-O along time ago lol, it could be your mouse, i just hooked up a cheap mouse of another computer and tryd it and noticed it a great deal. -
You spend money on a computer and stay inside, others spend money on a car so they can go places. There's a huge difference.yea their is 2 things in the world i care about my son and my computer lol,
and why do you say wow, its no diffent then someone spending 200$+ on a after market car part. -

their is very little difference think about it, what is putting a 5-10,000$ audio system into a car or putting one of those fart cans on their muffler a hobby right?, well whats putting money into a computer its a hobby is it not?. and as for the i spend money on a computer to stay inside no i work for a living tyvm -
Did I say there was? All I said was there's much better things to spend your money on. $120 for a mouse is a waste, you can buy a wireless mouse for 30 bucks and have it perform just the same. As for working for a living good for you, I never said you were a nerd and stayed in your house 24/7 and did nothing but play games.

mouse acceleration has nothing to do with the mouse. You can turn in off in wondows and in css and cs there are commands like -noforceparms and stuff like that to turn it completely off. But in cf the acceleration is coded into the game so you're not able to turn it off and this is not good -

A good computer will never cost close to the same as a good car. And while your example of a $30 mouse performing as well as a $120 mouse is wrong, the same could be said about a $50 radio doing the same thing as a $500 sound system in a car.
My car takes me from A to B, good enough. My computer runs everything just the way I want it to and looks good as well. I like it that way.
As far as mouse accel, some people play with it on, some play with it off. I personally don't let it bother me. While it would be nice to be able to disable it, when I miss a shot I'm not screaming "DAMN YOU MOUSE ACCEL!!!" -

Sorry, i'm not a troll. Nor will I ever be, you're just a spammer looking to get his post count up. And like i've said before, if you want to spend your money on a mouse, by all means go for it. To me, it just seems like a waste.
