Like Spain? Dropping with every touch, asking for cards, etc?
Whoa whoa. Did you see the dutch players? Crying and running to the referee? Hmm? And even with that corner spain would've won. As the dutch coach said, the better team won. -

I never said Holland deserved to win. :P
Just saying, you said the Dutch were playing dirty.. Spain was too. -

Yes, but the dutch were widely criticized for using physical tactics to stop spains rythmic passing style. Not spain. Eh anyways spain won, we'll just have to wait for the 2014 cup to argue some more. :P -

But then again, The Dutch weren't playing a great game either.
And to top it off. They should force Ref Webb to retire for his pathetic contribution.

ye he kept running so he had a chance to score
if he would fall he wouldnt have any chance so the referee must stop the match
This basically sums up the dilemma on this play from the Ref's perspective. If he fell, he'll most likely get a free kick, but Robben believed he had a chance to score thus refusing to fall and taking the risk to score; clearly that didn't happen. You cannot expect the Ref to let u continue the play, misses, and calls for a free kick (not going to happen). Either way, you'll still complain about the officiating to find an excuse for Netherlands loss. Spain probably didn't play their best soccer in the finals, but did just enough to take home the Cup, congrats to them. Netherlands played a decent game, but I believe their negative attitude and lack of sportsmanship was a big part of their loss. Congrats to Spain, looking forward to 2014 World Cup (that's if...we make it that far

You guys are pathetic. I'm pretty sure it's the first World Cup you guys ever saw and you talk as if you actually knew how this game is played.
Iniesta was onside, many broadcasters have shown this with technology. How you can tell he is offside is beyond me. The miscall on the previous corner is a mistake, but was not a determining factor such as a miscall on a penalty would have been, Netherlands had missed their previous 6 corners, so even with a 7th one, they could have failed again, Spain would have gotten the ball back and who knows?
The referee made some questionable calls, but I HIGHLY doubt he was in favor of Spain. Heck, in a normal game at least 3 Dutch players would've been sent-off. You say Spain played dirty? The Netherlands tried to throw the Furia Roja out of its game, just like they did to Brazil. Fouling them hard and diving as soon as they're touched.
EVEN THEY SAID IT! Van Bommel said after the game they didn't care about playing anti-football, they just wanted to win no matter how.
Well that's what you get Netherlands. The beautiful game will always beat the dirty game. And Spain plays so beautifully... -

FIFA have said they were more than satisfied with Webb's performance, under difficult circumstances (i.e. the majority of Dutch players behaving like babies, and their tactics of playing 'anti-football')
