bout action from puyol on robben

its robbens fault he didnt fall down so nothing happens

u rly need alot more info bout football

first get some info newby XD

lol ur a morron. Tripple post? I hate *****s like u that think every footballplayer must fall and make a show for every foul made on them. Robben clearly got brought out of balance big time: Puyol first grabs him, and then when he falls he even hits him with his leg... This is probably the worst final I have ever seen.

robben kept running if he would fall when puyol slipped puyol could get a red card and a free kick on a verry dangerous place for holland

but go watch spains missed chances
    hollands rly lucky

You want everyone to fall like Spain does? They get a little push and they act like they are dieing X_x failers

Joke player is a joke. He just fell there for completely nothing and then they had a free kick...

The referee fkd the game for the following with the following things:

-De Jong with his karate kick
-Van Bommel with a tackle from behind on a player
-Puyol with a tackle on Robben's legs, no intention at all to play the ball
-And then Heitinga with a tackle LESS HEAVY than Puyol's on Robben. But Puyol didn't get a card and Heitinga did

    In the extend:
-Heitinga hits Iniesta really lightly, nothing serious. Iniesta acts like a theaterplayer and Webb is ***ing blind and gives him his second yellow card.
-Pyol has has his arm arround Robben and is holding him.. He doesn't even get a yellow card nor do they get a free kick. That ball surely wouldn't roll right in Casillas' hands if Robben wouldn't be completely holded back from being near the ball. And then Webb gives Robben yellow for his protest? ***ING AMAZING!!
-Sneijder who shoots a free kick against the wall but no corner given!!!! Even Casillas touched that ball but they are just ***ing blind.

We didn't lose against Spain, we lost against Webb.
  • IhS now . 4ever .

    Spain sux
    Webb will be KILLED
  • Robben didn't deserve no penalty, stupid morons.
Yes, Puyol did extend his arm. Yes, but Robben in turn retaliated and overpowered Puyol causing him to fall. If Puyol made Robben fall with that extended arm, it wouldn't have been a penalty either, as their little bout with both of them on their feet was outside of the 16 yard box.
De Jong deserved a red card on his karate kick on Xabi Alonso.
Robben deserved his yellow card for screaming at the ref.

The game was as good as any could be. The ref can only call what he can see.

Ur a morron. Puyol grabbed Robben with his FULL ARM LENGTH. Look at the replay. After that, he falls and hits Robben on the back of his legs. If that ain't at least a free kick and a yellow card ur stupid. No wonder Robben was ****ed off on the blind referee

Also, ur telling the ref called what he could see? LOL look at the following things I wrote down here. HES BLIND.

Not really, it's also netherlands actions that cost them the game/ ruined it. With all their unsportmanlike behaviour, dirty calous fouls, etc.. Anyways spain won, stop QQing about the game and get over it geez.
  • Spain, didn't play well, in the last games, they won with 1 goal difference always, but that was enough for the final and the win. GG
  • This:

    1. De Jong’s kick was an accident. Watch the replays, it shows de Jong was looking away from Alonso, as he came from his back, turned around and kicked, where he assumed the ball was, not knowing Alonso was there.

    2. Spanish players kept diving, rolling on the floor and waving imaginary cards to the ref. They also kept bullying the ref, something Alex Ferguson said of Barcelona when they lost to them in the Champions League.

    3. Howard Webb didn’t give Iniesta a yellow card for violent conduct when he kicked van Bommel.

    4. Howard Webb didn’t give Puyol a second yellow card when he tripped Robben.

    5. Howard Webb didn’t give Elia a free kick when he was impeded by 2 Spanish defenders.

    6. Howard Webb didn’t see a corner kick after Sneijder’s free kick took a wicked deflection, which then resulted to a counter attack goal by Spain.

    7. Howard Webb handed out cards to the Netherlands quite happily, but the Spanish tackles went unpunished.

    8. Heitinga’s second yellow card was nowhere near an offense. Aside from that, Puyol got away with something like that earlier in the match.

    9. Van Bommel’s tackle on Iniesta, clumsy as it was, was not done with the studs, but it was his shin that got him.

    10. There were tackles from behind from Spain that went unpunished, so moaning about van Bommel’s tackle is moot.

    11. Spain were constantly diving, with some free kicks they received having had minimal, or no contact from an incoming tackle.

    12. Holland played rough, they didn’t play to injure players, so stop assuming van Marwijk’s tactics were to destroy the players. It is not brain surgery to understand that tackles can always go wrong.

    13. The Dutch tactics were to break up the Spanish ball control, however, the Spanish players played smart by diving after getting hit minimally, having Howard Webb return the ball to them by a free kick.

    14. Robben got a yellow card for complaining to the ref after not getting a free kick, after Puyol blatantly and clearly tackled him from behind when he was the last man, however, he didn’t hand out a single yellow card for any of the Spanish players that were complaining to the ref…. throughout.. I dunno, the entire match. Oh yeah, Matthijsen got booked as well… no Spanish player though… Heaven forbid.

Understand what offside means. The reasoning behind the offside rule remains fairly much the same as when it was introduced, namely, it is aimed at preventing an attacking player from waiting for the ball close to the goal. In simple terms, being offside occurs when an attacking player goes behind the line of defenders before the ball has been kicked to them. In greater detail, being offside occurs when:
-the attacking player is in the opponent's half of the field
-the attacking player is closer to the goal line than the second-to-last defensive player (including goal keeper) and the ball.
-the attacking player is involved in the play, either by playing the ball or interfering with a defender or goalkeeper

Looks to me like he was in front of the second to last defender.

    Wow, he actually WAS offside..
