Oke I'm a samurai and I need a katana for real!
A samurai playing with a little knife or axe or shovel looks stupid for real this samurai needs a katana fast!

Crossfire japan and some other version have a katana I hope you peeps look in to it and consider it to add it fast ;D

KEEP IN MIND KATANA IS ON OF THE STRONGERS SWORDS MADE IT CAN SLICE A HUMAN IN 2 WITH A SLASH OF A TRAINED SAMURAI ;D

Someone said something about this katana along time ago.

We definately need the katana sooner rather than later. It's one of the best additions I've seen in different versions of the game.

It's definately needed to help balance out ghost mode and for epic wins in knife-only games and rampaging on noobs when you run out of ammo.

I'm just holding onto my coupons, waiting for it to drop.

For the record; Ninja are generally regarded as not having used katana. Of course Samurai used katana you ret.ard.

We don't need this fast and you not aloud to post things from other versions. The animation is weird and I dislike it. KNIFE FTW!!! And no it would not balance the melee modes. It will inbalance. It'll be next to the shovel.

Left click is 81 damage
right click 100 damage <-- slow like hell!

and the range basically the same as the shovel

Left click depending where you hit in the body can be a one hit.
When you right click you can hold it and release it anytime you want so it's not slow if you hold it early.

The range of the katana is BETTER than the shovel.

It has more range straight ahead but the shovel has a wide hit. Yes, it will OP melee modes just like people who are good with axes and shovels can generally beat people with knives but it will help balance ghost mode out which needs something like this to land hits without getting easily blown away.

Aside from all that **** it's just ****ing awesome. Who wouldn't want to run around with a katana? I know you nubs like to cry about stuff that kicks your asses because you waste all your ZP on BS and can't make any more for free but why should that hinder the rest of us? They should put this in, it's just another cool thing to use currency on.

What you're refering to is either the Nodachi/Odachi which is a huge 2-handed sword that was commonly used on horseback or to fight cavalry in earlier samurai history before they stopped using them in favor of Yari and Naginata and kept regular katana for ground fighting. Basically it was a silly weapon that wasn't very effective and was rarely used.

Or perhaps based on the name Daisho, the carrying of both a Katana and Wakizashi. It was rare to use both at the same time though, one was for in door fighting and the other for outdoor use with more space but some did.

We need a katana fast!!!!!
