For the Xbox 360 pros!

ok so,i got moded my xbox 360 and i wanna play live.i know some friends who gotten them modded and they can play live.

so my question is how do i conect to xbox live? i got the cord,i put it on the end of the xbox and my modem (taking out the internet cord and putting them both 2gether) and when i go to network settings and try the conection.

theres a red X on there.and it says im not conected to internet.so any tips.?
Also
where it says IP and getaway number and all of that i got it on automatic but thes 0 on ip.y tryd doing it manual and nothing

help?

i dint do it myself,u probably have heard of colombia,there piratery over there is amazing,they do 100 bills and they look the same FTW

OT can u just reply saying no u got the wrong cords or u have to do this....

Ok try again if dont work check cords then reset modem and do u have Belkin or somthing if not then it wont work

Dont mod consoles , if the dumbstiff modding your xbox
or any of your consoles doesnt know what hes doing ,
then he could brick it and make the console completely
usless.

GG like jedi said warranty voids when modding.

i dont want warranty,had this xbox fro over 3-4 years now
