Your forgot the normal M41... and M4-advanced...

I have try, M41, M4-silver, M4-advanced and M4 custom.

M4-1, and M4 gold, do not have a silencer, but are otherwise good.

I like to have a silencer, so that you can kill someone, and the others (if they are not too close) do not know exactly where you are, and then you can continue the carnage.

The M4-C has also a scope, which can help sometime, but no so often.

Then(in my opinion):
1 M4-C
2 M4 advanced - M4 silver
3 M4 gold
4 M4
(for me silencer is better than more bullets)

1.M4A1-Custom
2.M4A1-Gold[IDK why,its just better than reg.]
3.M4A1 Silver/Adv[I have Silver..its HS machine but still i prefer custom over it]
4.M4A1[plain version is just to plain.]

1.M4A1 Gold (the only gold weapon I have ever liked and big ass clip, also looks rily pretty imo)
2.M4A1 Silver-Adv (Because it has a silencer which is just cewl)
3.M4A1 Custom (it is at my 3 because it is overated, too common for someone like me to get and the scope bothers me for some reason.
4.M4A1 (this is a back up gun or something to make GP off of)

I have used them all.
And in my oppinion m4-silver is the best.
With the costom a close second best.
I just find the silver more powerfull, I dunno xD

best: m4 c cuz I always pwn with this weap and I think this and kriss are the best rifles in the whole game
2: m4 silver beacause of the silencer (and dunno but I can play good with it better then with my m4 gold)
last: m4 gold (look up and theres nothing special just 3 more bullets -.-'

Kriss is not a rifle, it's an SMG, and it's a noobcannon.

Best rifles in the game are M4-C and AK-Scope, imo.

And I agree, the M4 Gold is really overrated, it's accuracy sucks compared to the AK Gold, for instance.
