yet another case of Cf no longer running. since your patch, the program no longer works.
that was the simple part, as for advanced user info. the game is launchable under ubunto, but not patchable, and under win 7 64 it is patchable but not launchable. i do without a shadow of a doubt know this is due to a windows malfunction, but i cant rely on micro****ed to have any sort of custumer support.
under ubunto, the game is installable with wine, but since the system isnt a windows system the patches end up the wrong place and hence wont patch the game.
under windows, since the patch i downloaded this evening, i can no longer launch the game (this is sort of a false positive statement) your hackwatch, and program actually launches just fine, and then just lay around in the ram doing nothing, utilizing neither cpu or gpu, or even displaying an image. this is a known vista and xp ****up, but i belived it to be fixed, is there any chance you could tell me what drastically changed and will have caused this? i or someone i know might be able to fix the issue locally.
yours truly, a casual gamer -
might add some more technical details. tried running the game both on my homeflicked server (amd poopbucket cpu, 3+ ghz single core, 8 gigs of unbranded 400mhz ddr2 ram, discount asus motherboard, and an older radeon gfx card, ill never know the model of unless i shut it down and tear out the cables so i can vaccum it and read the letters on it), and on my laptop allso running dual systems of ubunto and win7 64 (intel chipset 900 family, dual core cpu, 4 gigs of 400 mhz ddr2 ram (manually added more than stock) 128 dedicated gfx ram, and up to 17xx shared)
if you can in anyway help me fix this i would be gratefull, preffered ofc would be to get it running under linux, since it would severely up the pc's performance during play.
