it won't do that much, but it'll do some, it comes down to upgrading your processor for this game.

RAM is memory.

Having more memory on your pc pretty much doesn't do anything to performance.

Having more GHz and better video card does.

Not really. With less RAM you've some fps "lag spikes".

Dude srsly did you read my post? I said FPS "lag spikes". It isnt a theory, its a proven fact btw.

now if you upgrade from 256 to 1024 ram...that makes a diference but from 1gb to 4 no dif at all

This game is terribly programmed. I've played games (UT3) on my PC that looked better and had more going on that ran smoother. I don't know why this game runs so slow when it looks like complete crap.

OT: Don't bother with the RAM. Just save up for a new PC... sigh.
