behind the wall

hello I have a question about players that can shoot you behind a wall, not a box but through a stone,rock walls, is this a glitch or something, I clearly was behind a wall to reload, I say about every time I duck behind a wall for cover to reload, I get shot and killed, I see no lagging on my part on my computer. thank you bye.
