Is the RPK Worth it?

I currently have an AWM, an XM8, and an AK-47. I tried the M60, I hate it. I picked up the RPK 8 times so far, and I loved it.

I just got to the appropriate rank to get this gun, but should I get it? I play MM regularly, and I can control recoil well. I know how to burst and tap.

So, should I get the RPK, or save for something else?

How would it perform in FFA, S&D, and TD? Those are the main modes I want the gun to work well at.

well from my experice, if you can control the recoil, you'll get pretty good scores

well this gun i used previously first in MM and then to TD and snd. TBH it's not suitable for SND because ppl can hs you from far away but close range you are a beast. I can get 5 kill streak on snd map with rpk, because i dont need to reloadn and just aim at the body and 3 shots is all you need. even the spray is perfect close range. Basically it's a modified ak with larger mag. Awesome in mutation and good in TD. Downside is a bit heavy and you cant move fast to dodging bullets might be a problem. And it's not a good long range weapon though you can get random hs when burst in mid range.. and ppl call you hack ......
IMO it's a great gun if you dont have other machine guns, and definatly worth to get it. i now get the gatling gun so i dont use rpk in mutation mode....but gatling gun suks in other modes except maybe escape mode......

its not a bad long range weapon. if you 2 bullet burst its accurate as long as you are.

Sounds like it performs like an AK with a larger mag. I guess if you tap it could still be effective at longer ranges. Thanks for your input, guys. I'll pick this gun up. I've always wanted it.

Depend on wat mode you play rpk isn't really helpful in snd

it is not worth it unless you mostly play MM, and u said u wanna know if it's good in FFA/TD/S&D. u can kill sum noobs with it in random pubs liek that one mod guy, but against sum decent ppl long range - GOOD LUCK. since u may be able to one-shot well - get an AK-47.
