G36K, M4, or AUG?
Hey guys, I was just playing Cross Fire when I realized that I was getting a bit bored of my G36K. I love it but I was thinking of trying something else. Should I stick to it, get the oh-so-common M4, or the AUG, which I just decided to include in this list because I kinda like it. And while I'm on the topic of guns, is it worth keeping a Desert Eagle with a rifle? It's totally sick but I'm starting to think it's kinda useless.

Oh Lord, thank you for this bountful harvest of Frags that you have so graciosuly provided us with. Lord, I know that I have not been you're greatest servent in the past, but thank you lord for this weapon of pure pwnage and please give me the GP it takes to reapir this hammer of God called Steyr Aug A1.

The Aug is the best weapon in the game. It's got a good recoil, a scope and point blank accuracy, even while running. The M4A1 is inferior. The G36K's scope can't compare. No not even Chuck Norris can compare to the Aug's epic greatness.
Now on the topic of A pistol equipped with your Steyr Aug A1. Yes, I think it is a good idea to keep it. Buy an Anaconda, has basically the same accuracy as the Aug, a good reload time and looks awesome.

Umm...aug good for long range 1 shots, close range its not the best from my experience.
M4 is my fav wep so im gonna say go with that.
G36k dont waste your moneys!
Ahh... lemme see. I think it's an established fact that I already bought the G36k and love it. I appreciate the comment about my financial well-being but can't we focus on my original question?
OK, that was a bit harsh. M4 sounds like a good bet. AUG looks a bit... skinny IMHO.*

Aug is a fun gun, i use it on fortress just picking peoples heads off but i like m4 better its more of an all around gun, the reload is slow for aug which makes it not an ideal weapon, but the scope is alright depends if you can aim at distance but the m4 is very accurate and if you scrim m4 is suitable for a scrim , g36k sucks in my opinion but my sister does well with it on her account so idk, but i wouldn't choose it over an m4

g36k is realllyyyy good if you can aim for chest, or even better, head.
aug is better if you aim for head only, but other than that, dont bother.
m4a1 is an overall good weapon, but i prefer k-2 since it has almost everything m4a1 has, but sacrificed a tiny bit RoF for the throne of RnG -
Well Aug has the slowest reload and horrible spray. Technically it doesn't have a scope, it just zooms. M4 is an all around gun, but I don't think its a good long range weapon and the G36k is for anyone that can aim for the head. Meaning its for pro sharpshooter which I am.
Aug for camping M4 for run and gun and G36k is in between. Take your pick -
You coud buy them all or just try them all at Elimination. My choice woud be G36k and then Aug.
For keeping a gun next to the rifle:
pro
1. Drawing the gun takes less time then reloading an AR.
2. As a sniper moving through a level a gun ameliorates speed and defense while moving.

3. Most of the times u will be dead before u finished all ur mags.
4. *Shoot* *Click* *Click*..... oh what is that my gun doesnt shoot no more admin help maybe i should go around the corner and refill the tube of my what was it called i forgot i wonder if other players have the same problem i will open a thread tomorow in the CF forum

m4 best all around gun.......
the ppl who say aug are probably avg with the m4...and probably avg with the aug. i havent seen a person whos good with aug who isnt good with m4 , if they good with aug then they are ALWAYS better with m4. thats why i consider aug an crappy gun, plus if you don't get headshots with aug you're gonna die fast, die very fast and it has crappy reload time. and if you CAN get easy headshots with aug, then you'll get even easier ones with m4 and finish them a lot faster. g36k is not even an option
if you're a beginner who cant use m4 and finds aug easier go for that i guess. if you have previous fps experience like cod or cs and was decent at it, go for m4. although if you did, you probably would pick the m4 without even asking this question.
