Project Awesome 2 compared to Project Awesome

i decided to watch project awesome 2 again, then i decided to watch the first project awesome after.

And I noticed how much better the seond one is to the first

Here are some things i noticed

The first one isnt widescreen
The first one doesnt have much syncing
BlindRob use to use the Scar Light (didnt most of us though)
He wasnt a MOD (Well I think in most footage)
The second one has much better transitions

anything i missed?
oh ya and BlindRob se to use XM1014, now he uses winchester

so BlindRob, thinking on doing a third...

Clearly number 2 should be better because he would have learnt new things and got better at editing in general after finishing the first 1.

In the 1st one I really liked the frags.

But the editing was better on the second one.

Most film sequels are bad in comparison to the original (apart form the godfather).

But I agree that the second one was better, but this time round I think he spent a lot longer making it.

Me too, that's why I try to get nice frags, cuz I can't edit lol.
On topic: I liked the first one better also, I feel that since he had so much time to make it, he could've had a lot better of frags in the second :S.

The editing in the 2nd was better. I really liked his vids, but I prefer the 2nd one.

You are a good editor

But can try to edit your frags? And make a movie?

I think I like editing over frags. Because if you're good at editing, you can make a somewhat average frag look amazing.

Like this. Some of the frags aren't necessarily "amazing" but what he does with them make them just awesome.

Only problem I have with 2 is that there's too much winchester. The clips were great, but it was somewhat repetitive.

There are times in the creation of great works, in which the creator attempts to out-do his first original success.

In no way am I saying project Awesome 2 was not a success, but in my opinion the 1st version had a better song selection that I have to admit, REALLY Inspired me.

The Egypt scene with the song "Its my life" playing and the perfect timing between those 3 HS frags in the hallway was just so amazing and awe inspiring; but I never felt that same amazement when watching PA2 unfortunately (except for the ending somewhat).

Better editing, better animation tricks, but in the end...
Sometimes a sequel will forever remain incomparable to its classic predecessor.
