Hack Tool Detected?

So my friend was playing CrossFire and he suddenly got a message saying "Hack tool detected [0]" and the menu closed. What does that mean? He doesn't hack or anything. He did join a room in MM with a guy hacking using a one shot kill hack. The guy asked him to be friends, but my friend declined. Does that have anything to do with it?

man i dont know but Z8 need to fix this i currently disconnected at least 3 times before posting this. its ok if you have that message just log in again

It's not cuz he hack's or anything. since the new patch SO many ppl are just disconnecting and ish... it tells me I have hack tools sometimes too... Just gonna dc you... they should rly fix it
