Players of the tournament
Ok,we're far enough through the world cup to start talking about who's been the best player and who you'll be hoping to join your team. I'm personally praying that Ozil will be bought by United. That kid is just amazing. Schweinsteiger and Podolski and Muller and Klose have all been immense aswell but I think there going to stay at Bayern except I don't know WHAT Podolski is doing at Cologne.
For non regular footie watchers ye mightnt have seen Japans Honda but he's made his name for good now. Been playing great for CSKA but was the main man for Japan. Matsui and Kawashima were great aswell as Tulio.
Mexico had some great play. Hernandez played great and looks amazing for Manchester United. Barrera played great,Giovanni and Salcido aswell.
Uruaguay. All were fantastic to be fair but I think Perez,Cavani and Arevalo were good suprises. Fucile,Forlan and Suarez are already famous but these boys really were great.
Sanchez looks like an exciting prospect from Chile.
Ghana have a lot of great players coming through and they could be a suprise package for the next world cup in Brasil 2014. Bassically the whole team was great.

Podolski went to Bayern at the end of the last World Cup, and failed to fit it at all

not a huge fan of his anyways. Ozil could prove himself well in the Premier League, I wouldn't mind seeing how he got on. There's always rumours of Schweinstieger moving the the Premiership, and he'd suit a team like United, Chelsea (need a replacement for J. Cole) or even Tottenham.
Also I'm hoping Honda joins Spurs, there's been rumours and I've liked what I've seen of him. Also we're kind of lacking that Asian flair in the Premier League, aside from the South Korean presence of course.
But it's typically been a bad idea to buy players off the back of a good world cup campaign, so I'm not expecting too much from the sensible clubs (can rule our Manchester City then
)
I'm hoping we invest in some young Ghanaian players. They won the last U21 World Cup, and have arguably continued their success this year too.
As far as my team (Wolves) are concerned, we can only really hope to unearth some emerging talent from Europe. Transfers fees are always sky-high after big tournaments, so I doubt we're willing to invest in any players being touted around right now. -
