Moderators -vs- Freedom of Speech

I just read a post by Un_Rated, and a Moderated just closed it. And he was not disrespecting anyone.
Un_Rated was just stating a fact, that's all....... And a true one at that!
Under the Human Rights Law; Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
You can not censor or put limitations on what Un_Rated said, or you are looking for a law suit.
I served my country for over 20 years here in the USA, and I have the right to say what the hell I want.

I don't know what communist country this Moderator is from, but are servers are here in the
USA & Canada. And they are both under article 19. And that is the new LAW.

FREEDOM!

  • watch a mod come here and say it doesn't stand on the forums.
    it happened before and failed..

    second thought...
    Article 19.

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, ****receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers****.

Might be standing on forums if im correct.
  • when you go on forums you give up some rights, kinda like how you go to school and give up the right to curse 24/7. It's their website, they can censor what they want.

The internet doesn't operate under human law for the most part. This forum is owned by a business with every right to censor whatever they choose, they put this forum here for community interaction and could just as easily remove it as an option for us to use. They can moderate as they choose and to say otherwise is faggish. No different than the word filter in game or on here...in the end they're just words but they could censor "and" if they wanted. If you don't like the game or how it's moderated...go play solitaire.

As much as i respect your service, military involvement isn't really a Canadian company's main concern. To them that argument is about as valid as someone saying "I've spent 2000$ on Z8 points, i can hack if I want."
  • Let nuke z8 HQ who care :D

  • The new internet laws have changed this year, read up on them. That is why so many
sites are closing down, because of the new laws.
And Un-Rated post is on pages 2.

Any laws saying a site doesn't have the right to sensor what it's clients say i.e. cursing in game, saying things on the optional forums that the mods may decide to delete?

  • Go to; movies-links.tv (Google it)
And see what the government has been doing in the last 4 days, all because of the new
internet laws. And it is not just the movie links, some gaming sites have been hit too.
  • and if ur talking about this thread
    http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=72840
the moderators have made it clear about threads about disrespecting against BRs

oh yes....illegal pirating/distribution of games and movies and rightful censorship are most certainly close to the same issue.

  • To settle this ENTIRE argument.

    1) Upon registering for this website, you click on a little button that states, "By By clicking on the button below, you are agreeing to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of Z8Games."

    2) Within the Terms of Use, it states:

Enough said. You agreed to their terms by registering on the site. If you don't like it, then I guess you're S.O.L.

Basically what has been said throughout this conversation...figured common sense would have set in so I didn't have to go through the terms of use. Ty though =)
  • This is not the only thing they are doing.
Like I said, you are going to see a lot of new changes on the internet soon.

This. Your freedom of speech on these forums ends when we say it does. Thread closed.
