Stun Grenade/Grenade Damage

I know it sounds like Co.ck of Doody but think about it. Sometimes I'm against 4 Brazilians using M12s, and Tommies. If I had a stun grenade I would teach them a lesson.

If you say it might be hard to code, I think you're wrong. If the grenade hits you, temporary lower the mouse sensitivity for about 3-5 seconds to 0. It's extremely hard to move. This could really help out if you're alone versus a lot of people.

Also, maybe if you hit them with the grenade, freeze them for about 2 seconds (not slowing the mouse sensitivity) so you could ra.pe those mo-fos.

    Well, stun grenade is a decent idea i suppose, but it would be spammed like a **** in TD's and such. Plus,what slot would it take up? Also, it has to give the players a fighting chance, afterall, even flash nades still allow you to spray randomly even if blind. But what your suggesting is making it near impossible to even turn a mouse. Maybe reduced speed and increased recoil might be a bit better as then you can still aim.

    Secondly, grenades, if they hit you, sometimes stop you dead in your tracks if your jumping or such. Rather annoying. But if you wanna stop em good, play CF china, their grenades are 60% more effective at killing instantly.

    No if they have flash guards ^^. I'm mainly suggesting this because I keep getting deserted in games. I often need to go 1v4 which BLOWS!

    Maybe only allow it to be used twice in a TD/FFA match? Would take up the grenade slot and if you have the item that allows you to use 3 of each type, it would disable it...cause it's kind of OP.

    Maybe the fighting chance would be to reduce the damage if you're getting shot and and reduce the recoil as you said....?

    I really got nothing to say about what you said about grenade damage. You're right.

    How are grenades more effective in CF China? What did they do? Wouldn't it affect me cause my ping would probably be 300-400?

    Well, they didn't ban the flash grenade from GM even tho you get affected by it too. So...yeah...

    people usually strafe and can still jump out of the way w/o their mouse

    and when ur going somewhere u usually preaim anyway then just click if u see some1
  • I think the flash bangs are good enough.. Your over thinking it, what if you had a bunch of noobs on your team spamming them and you keep dying because you can't move..

    Well, they didn't ban the flash grenade from GM even tho you get affected by it too. So...yeah...

    but stun is worse because it has an area of effect so if some idiot throws it at a ghost and you're already right there, you cant do anything...and theres always those who purposefully will fool around with it..
    flash isnt so bad because you can run outta it

    Gah I forgot to add all the things a Stun Grenade should do.

    If you get hit by it

    *Mouse sensitivity changed to 0
    *Make you heavier as if you were firing the Gatling Gun
    *Can't jump

    *Makes you a tank! You need to shoot them 6-8 times to kill the stunned enemy. (makes you live longer if you're getting shot at so you won't be such an easy target)
    *Reduced recoil and higher accuracy.

    We can make it ZP. Not everyone would be able to get it. Only useable twice in a game.

    lol so tankers would become more tankers? they'd throw them at their feet just to stop an enemy dead if they rushed em or so on while they tank bullets.

    I don't think the huge pile of laggers should be able to benefit from that. thats what body armour is for anyways.

    Well you can't call them tankers if they're right in front of you moving at the speed of a sloth. Also, doesn't armor just take 2 or 3 more hits? At the end you're 70 AC 0 HP.

    1. If the server doesn't register it hit them, then it won't do anything. Hence lagg, tankers, teleporters. Hitting them with this grenade won't change that. It will be subject to the same like all the others.

    2. Armour does more than most think. True, emptying a good number of bullets into them will kill still, but even if it only stops about 4-5 bullets max, its more than enough. Its also a great anti-grenade protection from damage.

    True, but I wouldn't use the stun grenade if they were far from me. I would throw it around a corner and then rush and kill them. There's no way you can miss him. Also, if a lagger freezes then warps, can't you still kill him while hes freezed?

  • What I do think about it:

    It will effect you differently depending on how far the detonation was from you. A direct hit shall disable all movement, reduce mouse sens to 0 and make you crouch. Damage to chest and limbs is reduced by 15% (When you're stunned you feel less pain, am I right?) recoil is increased by 100% (Twice the recoil) and accuracy is decreased by 50%.

    Half the maximum effect area: You can only walk around, your mouse sensitivity is reduced by 20 points, your recoil handling is reduced by 50% (1.5 times the reg recoil) and the accuracy is reduced by 25%. You can't jump nor run, but you can crouch and walk.

    Maximum effect area (Maximum lengh the grenade will be effective at): You can walk and run, although your running speed will be decreased by 10%. You can jump, but the jump heigh will also be decreased by 10%. Accuracy and recoil handling will both be reduced down to 10%.

    Om, in cs 16 are stun grenades, used in zombie mode. I think it could be used in MM.

    I've never played CS but could work...
