Maybe you're downloading and watching stuff that you shouldn't be. Maybe that stuff gave you a virus and you didn't realize it until just now.

sometimes the game just stop completely and after 10/20s he starts again.
  • It happens to me too... The difference is that when normally i have 20 FPS, when it happens i drop to 3 T.T

Give me some info Kush. I'm not a mind reader.

Check your video card with 3D Mark. If everything is cool, update your drivers. If that goes well, check your video driver settings (if you have Nvidia, go to the Nvidia control panel). If it works for you to adjust the anti aliasing or anisotropic filtering settings to a lower level, then do so. In new cards, this might not have that great of an impact but it's worth a shot. I suppose if everything is okay up until this point and nothing seems to help, then you might want to try looking at whether or not the freezes are a result of overheating. Make sure the fan/cooling unit is working properly and everything is well ventilated. And the last thing I can think of that might be causing this is an antivirus program. I use AVG when playing and I wouldn't recommend anything else (free-wise); although I'm sure there are plenty of great ones out there, AVG works best for me.

    lawl.

I don't know, if I remember the specs you gave in the other thread, it might be a hardware issue; that is to say, unless all of your components were factory installed, you might want to check any upgrades you made to the computer.

should have gotten the 9800... the 9400 is worse then the 8800.. (nvidia has weird product line structure.)

I think i have a similiar issue. does it only happen after dieing? and only during the time you are in death cam? then it fixes it's self after respawn? this happens to me sometimes, like once a week or so. it happened on my old 8600 and my 9800..... if this is the same issue, then i do not see how it is even worth complaining about, sense it only last for a few secs after death.
  • This happens to me, it drops from 150 to around 60.

    Horrible lag :S
