Accuracy International AS50 Semi-Auto .50 BMG Rifle
The boys at NSWC Crane (Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana)
have apparently been busy little beavers over there. One of the projects they’ve been working
on is this little .50 BMG bad-boy. It’s called the AS50 Semi-Automatic Rifle, and it’s the result of NSWC Crane’s teaming with Accuracy International (AI).

Well it IS semi auto, and it IS .50 rounds. Not sure what you misread.
You're not sure what I misread? How about what he miswrote? First off, he said Beretta when he obviously meant to write Barrett. Secondly, he said .50 ACP which is a round that DOESN'T even exist. There is a .50 cal AE which is the pistol round that the Desert Eagle fires and there is the .50 cal BMG which is what the Barrett M82A1 fires, which is the one he meant to say. Lastly, his post was irrelevant to the topic because we weren't even discussing the Barrett .50 cal Semi-Auto sniper rifle. -

Aha! I only caught the .50 and semi-auto parts. Seemed like a rather harsh comment though, could've just corrected the guy :P. Nice gun anyways.
