Strictly for the LoLz, and killing doors in escape.
It's is fun to use, but it's less practical in a real game than the Winchester.

It also doubles as a noob magnet when you die or drop it.

Im pretty sure the gatling gun is the only gun we can say is High.

High ammo duration
High Reload time
High damage
High ROF
High recoil
High weight

Where the Winchester was an aiming challenge, the Gatling is a thinking game. The insane damage output and RoF mean that once you get going, anything in your path is dead. However, it's incredibly heavy and takes several seconds to spin up, so until you start firing you're a sitting duck. That said, I pinned an entire team into their spawn by myself on ship using it today.
