removing damage spots from a good strategical spot

There's something weird about Castle tho. You know in the tower with 2 windows that you can shoot people thru? I threw nade and it bounced back did 70 damage and then someone outside died with my grenade. I was like WTF?!! Wow I'm so pro even when i fail...
Anyone got any clue how this happened?
