torrents for incremental patches

this would gradually increase the speed of patching after an update

the download speed will only increase because of the amount of people downloading/seeding will go up after a while

also think about hosting it somewhere else for people that do not play frequent to give them a chance to download the patch when people took the torrents down

discuss?

  • I would have to agree with torrents for each patch. Many times I've had to deal with missing one patch and the next time I try to log in for whatever reason "Your client is old. Get the new one."

Torrents, or even just plain old downloads for each patch would save lots of time and effort on the part of the consumer.

plain upload wont be great after a patch

imagine 3000 people start raid downloading after a patch
with a torrent this wil only speed up the process since there wil be more hosts of the file whne there are more people downlaoding

Yes, but a .zip, .rar, or other such file type, or a self-installer package would be fine for people like me who can't use Torrents without their bandwith getting Nommed. :)

    its just a side idea
everyone knows the auto patcher is slow right after a patch and this would be a way to solve this
