Floating dead ghost body.

I saw this floating dead ghost body and shot it, but it ran away..
So I chased it and killed it.
Is this a bug? Or glitch?

same happened to me once, i joined and i could see ghosts but they was either dead and moving or just their weapon so i just extied and rejoined lol xd

I saw a dead body randomly runnign awround in mutant mode once, when he got infected, I saw his floppy claws running around. I joined the game when i saw it, it was still standing around when I got to play, I am not sure If I got a headshot on it or not...

It sounds like a glitch or a lag issue. Did the person have a particularly high ping?

He had 100-150 ping, he spiked alot..so yeah
I have 21 ping with 80 fps (stable)

I've seen some apparently dead bodies moving around flat on the ground on the downtown map but thats about it.

also it sounds like a glitch or bug reminds me of one i saw today heres screenie

he floated there for like 5 minutes i was watching him then i got killed came back and he was gone
