Two quick questions :D

Alright, lets get right to it..
First!
My ping is usually 35-38 average, East coast Canada <3.
For some reason I was spiking, Nothing that bad, 40 to about 100,
After a while my spikes were 40 to about 200.. Kept getting higher,
so I figured I'd give CF a break, Turned off my computer and watched tv..
I get back on crossfire, 3-4 hours later.. my ping is CONSTANT 400.. Best part is that I'm not the one tanking.. I can't do ANY damage to moving people and I take full damage the whole time.. It's not like my internet is being crappy.. Everything else is running fine..
Is there Anything I can do to fix this problem?

Second question -_-..
Is it just me, or are the dogtags Rigged? I've completed 31 missions now and still didn't finish.
I've gotten the letter C 11 times.. All I've needed was R2 for SO long.. :'( Why does CF hate me?

    What is your ISP? (internet service provider)
    Also, are you using a router? If yes, which model?
    As for mission.. ya, I got 7 time the F tag.. and I only need the C and E to complete it. Guess its just luck.. but that is stupid to give random letters, that just make no senses and all the servers are now filled up of Downtown only..I used to love that map but now its ridiculous. tired of it.

    question one, if your router is fine/ur ISP aswell, then it might be someone in ur household using the same modem to download something. My ping also spikes to like 200+ from 20ish when my housemates start downloading stuff. if it isnt anyone else in your household using the modem (as in using internet). then its more likely that your router/modem/Internet provider is having a problem at this very moment...

    question2: its luck based to get them tags, so if ur unlucky, it may take a lil longer, i got all my tags after 23ish missions .

    Well yeah, Nobody is downloading anything, Theres only one other person that uses my internet and he's on Vacation o_o..
    Tbh I have no Idea about my Modem..
    But I know thats I'm Eastlink >:D

    Would you mind just to reset your modem? (And your router too if you have one)
    Hold down the reset button for 20sec until all the lights turns off, if it doesnt work, just unplug the power cable for 20sec and plug back in.
    By doing this, youll get a new IP adress, so if you get a new <range> of IP, it might fix your issue.

    I did that with my ISP and it works. I was getting 40ping which is ok but im used to play with 10-15ping.. which is back ok since I got a new range of IP adress.

    if u have ruled out router and modem problems, and are sure that there is no app downloading anything in the background...
    Run a bandwidth speed test, and compare your results to past results. if you have never ran a speed test then shame on you...

    if it checks out, and all other apps get normal ping (games or vent) they could just be servicing a line some where, call the isp and ask... if you are on wireless some one could be leaching of your shi.t... and they should be cause wireless private networks are dumb and deserve to be leached off of.
