I'm not a PSG RD user but i think its a waste of coupons..

uggghhh im not that crazy about sniping.......
I would only use the PSG rd for mid-close range sniping....
If I do need to get the job done for long range sniping then I would just pick up my regular awm

Personally i enjoyed the psg-1, fun to use and does decent damage.
Then i got the msg90, which is has a much faster RoF then psg-1 (Its about the same as Psg RD) and i love this gun
MY next coupon gun, for sure, is gonna be the psg rd. SO id personally go for it -
It's a regular PSG (not the one on alaska) with +5 ammo, a faster firing rate in scope and a cooler skin that attracts people asking for your gun. If you enjoy using a regular PSG (again, not the alaska one) then you will enjoy using the PSG-1 RD a little more. However, mine mainly sits in the stash because it can't compete with an awm.
On a side note, the MSG90 is much better than the the PSG-1 RD.

Well... the MSG has a bit more recoil, and less ammo. I find myself having to reload a lot with it. My PSG RD seems to fire forever, and hit the same spot most of the time. Id rather have the RD just for the fact that I don't have to reload after 2 1/2 seconds of firing. -
I've made the PSG-1 Red Dragon my main sniper rifle, because I enjoy what it does for me.
Any moron can get a kill with an AWM or an DSR-1. It doesn't really take much skill, just a bit of luck. Basically anywhere on the body, apart from the legs, is an instant kill, so you don't even need to be an expert marksman. With the PSG-1 Red Dragon, that is different. If you want to kill with a single shot, you gonna have to learn to aim for the head. Otherwise, you're going to have to shoot again. Luckily, the PSG-1 Red Dragon, being the fastest firing sniper rifle in the game, allows you to make that second shot, even under fire of assault rifles. And when you have mastered quick aiming for the head, slow-assed AWMers won't stand a chance against this light weight, low recoiled, semi automatic, fast firing rifle.
In other words: The PSG-1 Red Dragon is definitely worth it. It's just not for everyone.
P.S.: Another perk that comes with sniping with a PSG-1 Red Dragon is that it improves your aim with pretty much any other rifle.
