This thread will be about the balance of weaponry and gear in this game. There have been many specific threads started on the balance of one particular weapon but I wanted to create a thread that includes them all and even certain gear (SPOP, armor, etc). This is not only a thread to QQ that <insert weapon here> should be nerfed but you can also discuss weapons that need buffs. I will start this thread off with a few of my thoughts.
Spas-12: This gun needs buffed very badly. It is completely worthless over the XM, as in literally no advantages over it. The XM is cheaper and I think it has a lower rank requirement. Z8 needs to do something about this gun. It should have more range and power than the XM at the cost of maneuverability.
M12s: Easily the most overpowered SMG and without a doubt the most unbalanced gun in the game. Everything about it is unbalanced but the main points of concern are its reload, accuracy and effective range. This gun is so out of balance that I'm not completely sure what I'd do to it. IMO, it needs removed.
G36K/XM8: I've heard the XM8 was nerfed in this aspect but I'm not sure. Either way, the full box damage is unacceptable. I can understand snipers and SMGs having full wallbang ability but it is ridiculous for all rounded rifles to possess such an advantage.
Beretta AR-70: I'm unsure if it is OP but on paper it certainly is. AK damage with Scar-L accuracy and relatively low recoil. Not many people have it or use it yet so I'll sleep on this for a while. It feels like an easy button for sure, though.
QBZ-95: This gun is so worthless. Why does it even exist? You can't hit anything when you spray so you're forced to tap or burst. IMO, worst gun in the game.

Spas-12: I personally use it pretty well and prefer it to XM for the simple reason that the first shot is more prescise. At least to me. I can use it pointblank/close/close-medium ranges, wich isn't that easy with XM for me. Now it might be cause I'm weird.
M12s: Scar L on steroids.
G36K/XM8: I don't see why those guns shalln't fully wallpierce. SMGs shalln't BTW, since they got lower caliber thus less power, thus less possibilities to pierce a wall.
Beretta AR-70: I'm unsure, although it's longrange isn't all that good from what I heard in CFGC reviews.
QBZ-95: I'd say a basic gun. Got it's weaknesses, got it's strenghs. I can use it, as I can use most rifles. -

Who the hell are you to call the QBZ worthless? Like the AUG, you don't spray with the QBZ. It's a burst master and can easily pull off headshots.

Everything else was kept the same except that. They decided to nerf the M4-C but not the M12s or Scar Light...
It was already weaker than the regular M4...there was no need to weaken it more.

They both are the same. The recoil is still lower than the regular M4 and the spray pattern is still looser. They fcked up what used to be my favorite weapon. -
The m4-c was too powerful at the beggining. Remember? now its a little weak
I didn't think it was powerful...or weak. It only had more accuracy and ammo than the regular M4 plus the silencer. I do agree that it might been a little annoying not knowing where you're getting hit from with a silenced weapon, but that's the whole point of a silencer. Plus it's a ZP gun. ZP weapons deserve a slight advantage over regular weapons. -

Why not? Some people cant get zp.
It's really good depending on the player. Shouldn't be that way because then people won't bother buying ZP weapons...
They should at least un nerf it and add warning signs when you get hit with silenced weapons to balance it more.
In my opinion, it wasn't over powered. Never was.

1- hitting targets was incredibly easy with the old custom
2- equal or more power than the reg m4
The M4-Regular was really accurate already. The silencer added a bit more accuracy. It was also never equal in power. It was always less. Regular M4 landed first 4-5 shots perfectly. M4-C landed first 5-6 shots perfectly. That's not so over powered since it's silenced. It's meant to be more accurate.
The M4-Regular did 35-40 and the M4-C did 33-37...now it does 27-33. -
