Screen Freezes, Turns Black

I have a problem with CrossFire. When I play a certain amount of games maybe even every other game, my computer screen freezes then ten seconds later, My whole screen turns black but i'm still hearing audio in the game. Can someone please help me out and give me some advice in how to fix and correct this problem. Thank you.

Processor: Pentium 4 Intel Genuine 2.4ghz
Memory: 1GB
Video Card: Radeon 9000 Series
System: Windows XP SP3

    CTRL + ALT + SUPR or ALT + Tab, then go back in game. It may be a non-perm solution.

    Post your PC specs please. I think it's your graphic card.
