killbadges

The easiest way to creating "Kill Badges" in crossfire you use a program called "Paint.Net" (a program not a website) and it works similarly to Photo-shop. You can find many guides for this program but mainly all you have to do is:
-pick the picture or whatever you want as your kill mark.
-use the "magic wand tool" or "lasso tool" to cut around the edges of your picture and delete everything but your final mark, then before you save your new badge into your CF files.(make sure everything is the right size so its not too big)
-MAKE SURE TO CREATE A BACKUP FOLDER WITH ALL YOUR ORIGINAL KILL MARKS!! (cannot stress that enough)
-Then take your final product and save it into your crossfire kill mark folder with the same name as the original, for example: Save a Kill Mark for a golden head shot as "badge_headshot_gold" and remember to save it as a Paint.Net file or ".tga".
PS: Its not as hard to do as everyone's saying it is because even I (a complete nub) have created an entire Irish Kill Mark Set (will not be released, given away, or sold).
